Carter Steel Guitars'

Carter-Starter E9 Basic Chord Chart

These Tables are intended to provide information on how the BASIC knee levers pedals and picking groups are used to form most of the BASIC chords used in music. They are not intended to be a complete chart of all possible chords.

NOTE:  Some tablature labels the knee levers differently. As long as the function is the same (for example, E's to Eb), the only difference is one of name.

For more information on E9th chords and how to use them check out Jeffran's E9th chord dictionary by Jeff Newman.
